Who we are
Cloud Insights (www.cloudinsights.nl) is published by IT Insights, Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 80589367 (“we”). We are the controller for the personal data described in this policy.
What we process and why
- Website statistics — pages visited, browser details, IP address and cookie identifiers, to understand which articles are read. Collected with Mautic, which runs on our own server in the EU, and only after you agree. If you receive one of our newsletters, visits can be linked to your subscriber profile. Kept for up to 2 years or until you withdraw consent.
- Email correspondence — when you contact us, to handle your message; kept as long as needed for that.
- Web server logs — IP address, browser and pages requested, for security and to keep the website running; kept for a limited period.
Cookies
We only place cookies for statistics after you agree. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings, also linked at the bottom of every page. WordPress sets functional cookies only for editors who log in.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers. The website and Mautic run on our own server, hosted in the EU.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw your consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
